As crazy as it might sound, happiness is not dependent on external circumstances but is a intrinsic part of our natural state of being. The feelings of unhappiness, separation and sadness we have, are projections of the mind and are not real. Unfortunately we live in these illusionary thought atmospheres all our lives. When these projections disappear we are instantly in a state of happiness.
